A “possible tornado”, as stated in the reports submitted to the Prefectures, passed early Sunday the resort of Costa Ballena, located halfway between the terms of Rota and Chipiona, wreaking havoc on everything in the part of the second location.

For two hours, a swirl of wind with gusts exceeding 100 miles per hour moved diagonally across the resort to the old pigeon shot, taking with greenhouses, trees and rooftops. The alarm is triggered at the edge of a quarter in the morning, when the tornado began to prey in the Costa Ballena chipionera and scattered near as Mary and Majadales Hijuela Netherlands. The neighbors gave notice to the Civil Guard post in Chipiona, moving several guards with local policemen in the municipality. In Hijuela of Mary, came literally flying through the air a greenhouse. The remains of the infrastructure ended up scattered across the road into the area. In order to restore the traffic, it was necessary to require assistance to park SanlĂșcar Fire, whose troops withdrew from road debris. In Majadales Netherlands, the tornado ripped the roofs of several houses fracturing all the trees that crossed their path. This newspaper tried repeatedly yesterday to contact the mayor of Chipiona to assess the damage, not possible.
