The professional showed the material met with his team working on weather events that occurred in our country.I explained to the people who attended: how to identify a tornado, how often they occurred and what parts of our country are more prone to severe storms occurring damage (this zone is marked on a strip that runs from Cordoba to Sea del Plata).

The doctor was last year in the month of October, Carrizales area to assess the climatic phenomenon that occurred and caused blasting roofs, fallen trees and damage to the laying of electricity.

This phenomenon was registered in this area was also part of the sequence showed Alting appeared in events that took place in Chivilcoy, Bragado and other games of the Route 5, which also had its impact on the extent of the damage.

Alting spoke of the scale with which they are measured and noted that tornadoes occur most frequently in our country are the lowest wind speed, but there is a record of a phenomenon that had devastating consequences in the province of Santa Fe because was the highest on the scale.

Maria Luisa Alting graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, where he pioneered the first woman to receive the Bachelor of Meteorological Sciences. In 1989 he won the title of Doctor of Meteorological Sciences.

From 1971 to 2001 he was Professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences. In 1977 he joined the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) and Scientific Research.

His main research objective is to study the physical, climatological and synoptic of tornadoes, currents and Mesocyclones descendants in Argentina.

For two hours, a swirl of wind with gusts exceeding 100 miles per hour moved diagonally across the resort to the old pigeon shot, taking with greenhouses, trees and rooftops. The alarm is triggered at the edge of a quarter in the morning, when the tornado began to prey in the Costa Ballena chipionera and scattered near as Mary and Majadales Hijuela Netherlands. The neighbors gave notice to the Civil Guard post in Chipiona, moving several guards with local policemen in the municipality. In Hijuela of Mary, came literally flying through the air a greenhouse. The remains of the infrastructure ended up scattered across the road into the area. In order to restore the traffic, it was necessary to require assistance to park Sanlúcar Fire, whose troops withdrew from road debris. In Majadales Netherlands, the tornado ripped the roofs of several houses fracturing all the trees that crossed their path. This newspaper tried repeatedly yesterday to contact the mayor of Chipiona to assess the damage, not possible.

Freedom to fly. Holders of Transport of the European Union (EU) agreed yesterday to reopen this morning, later, air traffic in areas not affected by the volcanic plume from Iceland. From now on, will the airlines to decide whether they want to fly or not in these areas.

This was established yesterday in the extraordinary meeting of ministers by videoconference, was impossible to meet in Brussels by the closure of some airports. Decided to divide the airspace into three zones according to their involvement in volcanic ash: the first, in the heart of the emissions, maintaining the absolute ban on flying, and the second, with traces of ashes, operate in coordination with the European authorities.

Meanwhile, in the third zone, companies must determine for themselves whether they fly, based on the recommendations of experts and enhanced security measures. It’s the same policy that works in the U.S., and that the EU applies in other situations, such as storms.

Because, in the words of the European transport commissioner, Siim Kallas, the current situation of closing the airspace can not be sustained for long, even for a few more days. ” The companies had repeatedly claimed that restrictive measures could be relaxed.

Thus, several countries have announced in the last hours some opening of its airports. Including France, where in the north were reopened on a “partial”. Meanwhile, British Airways intends to make some flights to and from London today, the day when Ireland will operate. Eurocontrol expects today off between 40 and 45% of scheduled flights in Europe. Yesterday was only 30%. And tomorrow is estimated that the increase will be similar.

Management criticism

And while the International Air Transport Association (IATA) yesterday harshly criticized European governments for its handling of the situation, made “no risk analysis, without consultation, without coordination and without leadership.”

For its part, the Association of Spanish pilots believed to have correctly applied the protocols for contingencies such as the volcanic plume.

SPAIN, BRITISH BASE OF OPERATIONS

The British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, yesterday asked the Spanish president, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, help to return home to their compatriots’ caught in Africa and Asia. ” Zapatero offered, in principle, the use of the airport of Barajas, in Madrid, as a base from which to charter buses or trains in the direction of the United Kingdom.

Also yesterday moved from the British Isles two Navy ships to ferry civilians and one to transport a group of soldiers serving in Afghanistan. The UK will begin today to open its airspace to traffic in Scotland and northern England because of the situation, according to the British Aviation Authority, improve “continuously.”

Icelandic volcano ashes, which damage the engines of the aircraft, returned yesterday to lead, for the second consecutive day, closing the airport of Asturias, together with fifteen others on the Cantabrian coast, the eastern mainland and Balearic Islands. If the Saturday closure lasted only an hour yesterday, Sunday, Santiago del Monte terminal remained inoperative eight hours, from seven-thirty in the morning until half past three o’clock, but the day the first plane did not land Asturias until seven o’clock. That was the general trend in all the airports affected by the cloud, which were returned to normal gradually over the afternoon, except for connections to Europe, which are interrupted.

The volcanic cloud drew over Spain yesterday morning a line that started in Asturias and ran the Peninsula up to Palma, the same airspace as Spanish Airports and Air Navigation (AENA) decided to close for safety reasons. Early in the afternoon it began to move toward the east and gave the order to reopen the airport, with the warning not to be trusted because the cloud, which remains closed much of European airspace is constantly evolving.

With this background, chaos reigned one day in air traffic, and now they’re four. Across Europe, 20,000 flights were canceled, as it only reached 4,000 of the 24,000 operations scheduled for yesterday. In Spain the figure was late in the afternoon at 3165 flights canceled, most connections with Europe. Only in El Prat de Barcelona cancellations amounted to 400 flights. Meanwhile, Asturias Airport 31vuelos suffered the cancellation of national and international. The forecasts, in its initial order Aena extended the closure until eight o’clock in the afternoon, were more pessimistic, since it was expected to be lost more flights. However, with the reopening of the airfield is managed to regain connections with Iberia and Vueling Madrid and Barcelona. At press time, had not forecast for the day today. “There’s too many problems, people are well informed by the companies themselves or the media and does not come to the airport,” he explained at noon the chief operating officer of Santiago del Monte, Ángel Álvarez.

Travelers, informed or not, had to fend to reach their destinations. Train, bus, rental cars and taxis were the alternative media. In Asturias, as Alsa Renfe yesterday strengthened its services to cover demand, but train tickets to Madrid and Barcelona were sold out by noon.

Chief of Staff of the Army of the Congo reported the release to the Ambassador of Spain in the African country, Felix Costales, diplomatic sources confirmed in Spain. Costales had moved on Monday to Mbandaka, the main town of the province Equatorial Congolese efforts to care directly to locate Sarsa and thanked the country’s military authorities, which are those that have rescued the Aragonese-born doctor will manage their transportation to the capital.
Down the river
Sarsa was kidnapped on day 4 when he was vacationing aboard a ship on which he ran the Congo River with the intention to reach Kinshasa. The ship was assaulted by the rebels of ethnic enyele during the attack on the town of Mbandaka. Affairs confirmed the kidnapping on Saturday, when activated the emergency protocol to try to free him.
The physician, 55, was due to return to Spain on April 19 after more than two months off down the river dedicated to the Congo. Sarsa is a specialist in tropical medicine and a great knowledge of Africa, a continent that has devoted much of his career of 25 years, but now works as a doctor in the town booster Caspe Zaragoza and lives in the town of Alcaniz Teruel .
The doctor’s family warmly welcomed the news that sent him directly to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A few days after the kidnapping of the physician know, the Congolese Minister of Communication, Lambert Mende, said the rebels had shaved body hair Sarsa for making magic charms with which to protect themselves in battle. The pro-government militias and rebels from Congo often use traditional beads and charms to adorn for battle with the belief that protect them from enemy bullets. Some even believe that amulets can turn bullets into water.

His goal, he says, was not Europe but remain in first without oppression. Which, in fact, been achieved.

Seen in this light, the apparent resignation of such events could be interpreted as the early resignation of a sport that does not aspire to anything other than a dignified defeat. However, there are other more reasonable view and that warns of the difficulties that the club can be found.

Exactly what makes it very, very dangerous to Depor is the fact of being saved and not already have more obligation than to play good football. And if so, competing without any pressure, it complicates life for Barça, perfect. Win or lose, their season will be neither better nor worse, but always adorns the resume to boast that you have taken two or three points to the champion of everything.

Instead, the ship’s bell itself may depend on this result. Hagan accounts. If the math does not fail and resists Madrid, Barca, to win the title, you need to win six of seven games remaining. And this week, already has two such meetings vital craved: Depor at the Nou Camp and Espanyol in Cornellà. A rival who, unlike the Galician box, it will matter very much the result of the derby. Also out of danger, its quite justifiable motive is pure rivalry. And for many fans of Espanyol, Barca leave without league is the closest thing to win a title. And you do not go far back to know what we mean. From ’straw’ of Madrid. Tamudo goal in the Nou Camp and champion Real Madrid.

And there, in Madrid, desperate and with that, trying to resurrect that ‘brotherhood’. An invention that worked, not because of Capello, but because of the complacency of Rijkaard and those who consented to it. An experience, yes, that will be unique with Guardiola on the bench. Pep, sure, you know that tonight and Saturday the club will play more of what was played at the Bernabeu. La Liga … and the risk of resurrecting the Madrid

Resignations “before the end of the Bernabéu?

The board will meet on 30 and then must leave the electoral calendar. This will require that managers who resign to stand for election within the deadlines set. Barça Confident that the Inter eliminate all want to be in the box at the Bernabeu in the Champions League final on 22 May … but there is a problem. Depending on how dates are interpreted, it could be that 21 had to resign. Attempting to happen on 25 May.

From Utrecht to Madrid with the Champions

Joan Laporta will lead the delegation on Friday Barca, as defending champion, will take the Champions Trophy to host the next final, Madrid. But before you pass over land in the Netherlands. Tomorrow the President will host a conference at the stadium of Utrecht, De Galgenwaard, which will-sporting topics as the meaning of the phrase ‘Mes que un club’ or the spirit of solidarity of Barça.

Did you know …

Leo Messi, between games, football off playing tennis with his girlfriend in the club ‘Andres Gimeno’ Castelldefels

The international Christian youth Tello, who already played for Barca before doing so at Espanyol, has an offer to return to the club and follow Madrid and Villarreal

The vessel is so stiff the investiture ceremony of Johan Cruyff as President of Honor that has not even invited to the event the Patrons of the Foundation
